Ronda Steinke-McDonald

Writer, peace worker, well-being guide, artist, activist, and teacher.

Ronda Steinke-McDonald is a writer and former newspaper columnist. Her new book, What the Soul Wants for Christmas, was released in 2021. She is currently working on several fiction and non-fiction projects since the recent sale of the alternative school she founded in 2000, where she created compassionate classrooms for unique learners.

As a continuation of her classroom experiences, she offers Well Being tutorials and one-on-one coaching, www.being101.com. She is also a fine art photographer, represented by Southlight Gallery; RondaView.com. Her most recent activism centers on the respectful revitalization of the historic working waterfront in Mayport Village at the mouth of the St. Johns River.

Originally from Wyandotte, Michigan, in the Downriver area south of Detroit, she has now spent more than forty years on the coast of a much warmer peninsula in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
